Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the nibblenibble mobile application (the "App"), published by Guillaume Raspaud ("we", "the publisher").

By creating an account or using the App, you accept these Terms without reservation. If you do not accept them, you must not use the App.

2. Description of the service

nibblenibble allows families to:

Create and track one or more baby profiles (information, food diversification progress)
Log meals, foods tried, and the baby's reactions
Share this tracking with other family members via an invitation system
View statistics and export a summary as a PDF

The App is not a medical device and does not provide any medical advice, diagnosis, or recommendation. The information it displays (statistics, reactions, etc.) is a personal tracking tool, not a health recommendation. For any question about your child's diet or health, consult a healthcare professional (pediatrician, doctor).

3. Eligibility and account creation

The App is intended for adults (parents, legal guardians, or relatives authorized by the family) tracking the diet of a minor child. It is not intended to be used directly by minors.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity performed from your account.
An account is strictly personal and must not be shared.

4. Family sharing and roles

The App allows inviting other people to access a baby profile, with two access levels:

Administrator: can create, edit, and delete meals, manage the baby profile, invite or remove members.
Read-only: can view meals and log the baby's reactions, without changing the date, foods, or structure of a meal.

You are solely responsible for the people you invite to access a baby profile's data. By inviting a member, you consent to them being able to view (and, depending on their role, edit) that profile's data.

If you are the sole administrator of a baby profile, you will need to transfer that role or delete the profile before you can delete your account — this prevents a baby profile from being left without any administrator.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to:

Use the App only for personal, family, non-commercial purposes.
Not attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours without authorization.
Not disrupt the App's technical operation (reverse engineering, automated data scraping, etc.).
Not use the App for illegal purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account used in violation of these commitments.

6. Content and food database

The App includes a food database provided for guidance, to make logging meals easier. This list is not a nutritional recommendation and does not replace a pediatrician's advice on the timing and order of food introduction.

7. Advertising

The App is free and funded by advertising, displayed via Google AdMob. By using the App, you agree to the display of these ads, under the conditions described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its design, code, brand, and editorial content are the property of Guillaume Raspaud, unless stated otherwise. The data you enter (information about your baby, your meals, your notes) remains your property; we only use it to provide you the service.

9. Service availability

We strive to ensure the App's availability, without guaranteeing uninterrupted access. The App depends on third-party services (Firebase, Google Play Services) whose availability is not under our control.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

The App is provided "as is", without warranty of being error-free.
We are not liable for decisions made based on information displayed in the App (the App not being a medical tool, see Article 2).
We are not liable for indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.
We are not liable for the content or behavior of family members you invite yourself.

11. Account and data deletion

You can delete a baby profile or your account at any time from the App (see our Privacy Policy for details). These deletions are permanent.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms to reflect changes to the App or applicable regulations. In case of a substantial change, we will notify you via the App. Continuing to use the App after notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute regarding their interpretation or execution falls under the jurisdiction of French courts, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
